About Saxon
I am Saxon Jenkins, a 16 yo Singer, Musician, Actor from Melbourne, Australia. I have released 14 x singles since the age of 12 and have guest starred on several TV shows and short films in Australia since the age of nine.
My main musical influences are The Beatles, David Bowie, The Killers and Beck. I am also a big fan of the Small Faces, The Kinks, The Who and all the crooners from the Rat Pack, together with Robbie Williams.
My main acting influences are Johnny Depp, Jerry Lewis & Jim Carrey.
I'm also a big fan of Hans Zimmer & John Williams movie composers. "My goal is to keep guitar rock alive for my generation" Saxon Jenkins.
My Story
SAXON JENKINS Actor/Singer - Born 27 March 2007
2010: Saxon was such a little character from the age of 3 YO and was enrolled into Bright Stars in Melbourne.
2014: Saxon started formal acting classes at 7 YO at Victorian Youth Theatre and performed six musical half yearly stage plays for that theatre company.
2016: Saxon was then recommended to join the Acting Performance Studio (Small Fry’s) which saw him cast in his first TV appearance on "MAD AS HELL" (ABC TV) https://www.starnow.com.au/media/671348
2016: Saxon also acted in his first TV advertisement for iselect...
2017: Saxon had a co starring role in Tyre power 40th Anniversary Video, https://www.starnow.com.au/media/724301
2017: Saxon also featured in another episode of "MAD AS HELL" for the ABC as they were so impressed with his prior performance in 2016.
2017: Saxon filmed a TV pilot for Netflix called " Scraping By" yet to be aired.
2017: Saxon also had a second call back for a lead role in a Steven Speilberg movie; “The Kidnapping of Edgarto Mortago”
2018: Saxon was cast as the lead in his whole school play “Jack & the Beanstalk” and sang 7 solo songs note perfect, at the young age of 11, year 5.
2018: ABC TV for Kids cast Saxon as “Oliver” as a guest role in a new TV series “The Inbestigators”.
2018: Saxon was approached by 20th Century Fox (USA) to be considered for the major role of Lucas in their feature film “Antlers”.
2019: June 22nd Saxon appeared on ABC for Kids “The Inbestigators” as Oliver
2019: January, Saxon was voted Performing Arts Leader for year 6 of his Primary School.
2019: July, Saxon released his first two original songs “She’s Got It” & “When You’re In Love”.
2019: September, Saxon was in the supporting cast for short film “Vivid”.
2019: November, Saxon was cast as child lead role in short film “The Forthcoming”.
2020: March, Saxon’s original pop song “She’s Got It” debuts on UK radio! When Saxon is still 12 yo !
2020: Saxon released 4 x songs and music videos that year.

2020: During lock down this year Saxon made use of his time filming impersonation spoofs of Donald Trump and Rafael Nadal and uploading them on You Tube
2021: Feb, Saxon filmed a guest role for up coming TV series for Paramount Plus "More Than This".
2021: April, Saxon had his first one hour feature radio interview La Loula Blue on 3 Degrees Fahrenheit 89.7 PBA Adelaide SA
2021: Saxon released 3 x songs and music videos this year.

2022: July, Saxon released a new rock song called "Human Being" gaining more air play on UK radio stations than ever before!
2022: August, Saxon played Senator Fipp in the year 11&12 High School play "Urinetown" for a 10 day run. Saxon was the only year 9 in the senior cast.
2022: Sept, Saxon appeared as young Jarrod in the short film Mr Badman
2022: Sept, Saxon starts filming as the lead actor Mr Moss in "Who killed Mr Moss"
2022: Oct, Saxon releases his 12th single "Superior Being" a Sci Fi soundscape as a follow up to his last single "Human Being"
2022: Nov, Saxon releases summer pop song "Teenager Romance"
2022: Dec, Saxon stars in lead role of "Seussical the Musical" as the Cat in the Hat! from 8-12 Dec
2023: March 20th Saxon released his explosive punk rock song “Get Out of the House”
2023: August 4-12 Saxon plays the main role as Dennis in his Senior high School play “All Shook Up”
2023: December 5th Saxon wins Award for Excellence in Drama by his School - for playing the role of Dennis in “All Shook Up”
2023: December 9th Saxon was nominated for a Guild Award - Best supporting actor in a musical/play for playing Dennis in “All Shook Up”
2023: December 17th Saxon was nominated for a Lyrebird Award – Best Supporting actor in a musical /play for playing Dennis in “All Shook Up”.
2024: Feb 26th Saxon released his first single for the year “ My Hearts Fragile” a self penned gothic masterpiece
